**House Manager Job Description**
**Responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing support
to individuals with special needs in a residential setting.**
Redwood Family Care Network/Sails Washington is an innovative
leader in delivering person-centered home and community-based
services to individuals with intellectual and developmental
disabilities. Our mission is to provide world-class person-centered
services, supports, and advocacy for individuals in positive and
life-enriching environments.
The House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and
support of residential services, including training staff, ensuring
clients' needs are met, and maintaining quality home environments.
The House Manager ensures and maintains regulatory compliance as
mandated by policies and procedures, Sails Washington expectations,
and state requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Client Support:** Ensure clients' needs are met, and quality
home environments are maintained.
* **Staff Training and Supervision:** Train and supervise staff to
provide high-quality care and support to clients.
* **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with policies,
procedures, and state regulations.
* **Communication:** Maintain regular communication with
conservators, outside agency representatives, and staff.
* **Safety and Security:** Ensure the health, well-being, and
safety of clients, and maintain a safe and secure environment.
* **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of
client information, staff training, and regulatory compliance.
* **Problem-Solving:** Collaborate with stakeholders to develop
solutions that meet clients' needs and promote their
well-being.
**Requirements:**
* **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required.
* **Experience:** 2+ years of experience in a residential setting,
preferably with individuals with intellectual and developmental
disabilities.
* **Skills:** Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to
maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* **Certifications:** Current and active CNA certification, CPI
blue card, and successful completion of 75 CORE Basic Training,
Nurse Delegation, CPR/First Aid, and other state or agency required
training or licensing.
**Work Environment:**
* **Location:** Kirkland Area
* **Work Hours:** Monday-Thursday 06:45-3:00PM, Friday
07:00-2:00PM
* **Physical Demands:** Regularly required to sit, stand, walk,
talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach
with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance and
stoop. Regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally
lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
