• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or an equivalent registry as a Rad Tech and CT Tech; required within one year of hire.
• Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the Washington State Department of Health

  • Job Details
  • The technologist is to efficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment for the purpose of medical diagnosis and treatment, maintaining quality treatment to patients.
  • Includes producing quality radiographs of designated portions of the human body.
  • Maintain accurate records of the radiographs.
  • Distribute reports of examination findings to the patient's provider.
  • Responsible for communication with radiologists, physicians, patients, patient's families and other persons.
  • Perform relief and/or other project duties as required.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
    • At least one year of RT experience, preferred.
    • Comprehensive working knowledge of radiographic equipment and proper care for this equipment.
    • Working knowledge of all basic and special DI procedures performed at the facility.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt exam to patient care problems as they arise.
    • Proficient in current technology, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and operate PACS/RIS.
      • Schedule Information
      • Responsible for the expedient care and compassionate treatment of each patient.
      • Attendance at department meetings and special meetings is required.
      • Ability to work on-call shifts as assigned.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Occasional patient scheduling for Mammography, X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
        • Utilize sound sterile technique to prevent contamination and/or cross contamination.
        • Participate in the department's Quality Assurance program and perform assigned Quality Control tasks.
        • Maintain cleanliness of the exam rooms as part of infection control.
        • Enter patient information into the RIS.
        • Special projects and other related duties as assigned.
