• Certification Details
• General Certification Requirements: BLS for Healthcare worker, N95 fit tested
• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT in MR. Washington State Radiologic Technologist License if candidate is ARRT certified in X Ray or Computed Tomography
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): Yes, IV skills required.

  • A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced MRI for a travel contract.
  • Orientation/Education Hours: Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 week of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.
    • Job Requirements
    • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS and WA License.
    • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Not required but encouraged having experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast and Breast Biopsy MRI.

        • Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Brain, neck, Spine, Chest, Abd, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, MSK, Imaging patients with Implanted devices and researching them prior to Imaging.
        • Average # of scans/studies per day: 28
        • EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EPIC and Sectra PACS
        • Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Main Hospital GE 1.5T & 3T, Outpatient Clinics: Philips, Hitachi
        • Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: Radiology Aides assist MRI Technologists
        • Radiologist in-house?: Yes
