Job Description:
A company is looking for a Benefits Associate to provide
guidance on benefit plan options and assist members with
inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Interface with internal and external resources to provide guidance
on benefit plans and cost factors
Answer incoming calls and respond to member inquiries about
benefits, open enrollment, and plan options
Resolve benefit issues and document all cases thoroughly while
maintaining confidentiality
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Degree or GED required; Associate's degree
preferred
Minimum of one year of customer service, healthcare, or employee
benefits experience required
Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required
Ability to pass standardized testing related to the job
Knowledge of COBRA, Medicare, and other benefit-related programs
preferred
